Seasons of Love – Highlights of Recent Weddings Hosted Under the Hut

These past couple of months The Sunset Weddings & Events Team have been honored to host weddings, rehearsal dinners, and even retirement parties! All though we would love to share everyone’s experiences and pictures we have selected a few to post on our blog. Celebrations are meant to be meaningful and memorable and it’s our sole duty to make sure it’s as stress free and beautiful as our guests hope it to be! There is nothing else like good vibes with the tides on the beautiful Anna Maria Island.

Emily & Brandon are an energetic couple that had beautiful tropical colors in their wedding scene. They started the summer months off in June with a fun celebration and a beautiful sunset to end it! They are not locals but come to vacation and enjoy the area. Congratulations again to Emily & Brandon!  

Sierra & Troy celebrated their marriage with an intimate group of family and close friends with us. They ended the month of June with us in a rustic laid-back setting under our covered patio. The couple comes from Michigan and enjoyed the beach views even though most of the time it rained! They didn’t let the rain stop them from making memories and having fun! Congratulations again to Sierra & Troy!

July heated up with a couple weddings, one being an intimate ceremony and reception for Jackie & Richard. The couple came from New Jersey to celebrate with their family and friends that live close to the area. They hosted their reception under our smaller tiki hut and tied the knot on the beach ending with another gorgeous sunset over the Gulf of Mexico! Congratulations again Jackie & Richard!

As July turned into August, we had a ton of fun in the sun hosting this next couple Kelli & Frank! All though they came during the start of Red Tide season they didn’t let it affect them. This couple came from Pennsylvania with an intimate setting of close family and friends. A special moment was shared with the bride’s daughter and now future father! Congratulations to Kelli & Frank and the family you have created by tying the knot.

Ending the summer we helped host Michelle & Jeff’s wedding ceremony and reception! They traveled here in RV style. Camping and a beach wedding makes for great memories in our area. The summer showers inflicted their day however, we made the best of it and decorated our big tiki hut for both ceremony and reception!

The evening turned out to be beautiful and so did their reception. Congratulations again Michelle & Jeff!

September we had several events, but none that ended with a turtle nest hatching! Jessica & Adam came down from the farms of Ohio to the Gulf of Mexico coastline. Together they had a small wedding of family and close friends. 

The couple didn’t let the rain affect them from having a good time and enjoying the tiki vibes. Congratulations again Jessica & Adam!

Ending this post we have another young couple coming from Central Florida to celebrate their marriage on the coast.

Kamila & Ryan shared their vows on a bright sunshiny day with their friends and family that traveled from everywhere around the world! This was the most cultured and fun group of people come together under the hut. I’m so glad we got to share their wonderful experience. Congratulations again Kamila & Ryan!
